This vehicle was imported by us and officially registered in the UK in March 2026. We sourced it in collaboration with Wadachi Japan, a specialist in Copen vehicles, who conducted a thorough inspection and service before shipping.
In Japan, there are strict regulations regarding inspections and maintenance. Every two years, a comprehensive "2-Year Statutory Inspection and Maintenance" (which includes 60 items) is required, and an "1-Year Statutory Inspection and Maintenance" (covering 29 items) must be performed annually. For vehicles acquired at auction, we also conduct the "2-Year Statutory Inspection and Maintenance" as an extra precaution.
The maintenance tasks performed include engine oil and filter replacement, engine accessory belt replacement, spark plug replacement, manual transmission fluid (MTF) replacement, brake fluid replacement, air cleaner replacement, air conditioning filter replacement, air conditioning refrigerant replacement, and wiper blade replacement.
Regarding the audio system, the original unit lacked an English display and smartphone connectivity, which was a significant drawback. As a solution, we replaced it with a Bluetooth-enabled DSP amplifier, allowing for smartphone use in the UK.
