Since the EUDM/UKDM VTEC Spool Valve ASSY (15810PCXA03) has an additional oil pressure switch that is discontinued, an alternative solution is available to resolve this issue. The JDM VTEC Spool Valve ASSY has a blanked hole for the oil pressure switch; you may use the hole to install an oil pressure switch.
There is an oil pressure switch, No.1, located near the oil cooler for both JDM and EUDM/UKDM models. However, EUDM/UKDM models have an additional oil pressure switch, No.2, on the VTEC Spool Valve Unit. This means the ECU harness differs between JDM and EUDM/UKDM models, and eventually, the ECU itself will also.
