Auction success report - 2015 Daihatsu Copen Xplay LA400K Khaki
Today, we successfully bid on a 2015 Daihatsu Copen XPLAY LA400K (khaki) at auction! The XPLAY is a rare find among the second-generation Copen models, and it only occasionally appears at auction, so I'm thrilled to have finally won it.
This vehicle is a 2015 model, with approximately 72,000 km (45,000 miles) on the odometer, an overall rating of 4 points (interior rating of B), a khaki body colour, a black interior package, and comes with aftermarket suspension and exhaust. According to the scratch diagram, there are several scratches and dents.
From the pictures, it seems the ride height is slightly raised. Could it be lifted? That sounds good! So, I decided to bid.
Our company's rating includes a premium for the khaki colour and black interior package, as well as an assessment of the aftermarket parts, resulting in a 10% increase over the standard price. Furthermore, to counter single bidders, we raised the cap slightly.
The result was a successful bid of approximately 114% of the standard price.
As usual, this vehicle will be transported to our partner, Wadachi Garage, for inspection. I expect to be able to report back within 1-2 weeks.
