Auction loss report - 2015 Daihatsu Copen Cero LA400K Yellow with Red Interior Pack

Today's post is about losing an auction. We were looking for a base vehicle to build our company's demo car when a car that perfectly matched our requirements came up.

Our desired specifications were: body colour in Jaune Yellow, Clear Blue Crystal Metallic, or Pearl White; interior in Red or Black Interior Package; manual transmission; mileage around 50,000 km; and a 2015 model year, which would exclude it from the IVA requirement.

We really wanted this particular car, so we set a price limit considerably higher than the market price and entered the bidding... but we lost!

I suspect it was a one-on-one battle against someone with no price limit. I completely understand the desire to own it. It was a car in excellent condition.

Let's hope for better luck with the next car that comes up.
