*These products are listed as a service for customers using our JDM service. You can choose your preferred damper braces, and we will install them in Japan. Oil-filled products, such as dampers, are classified as hazardous materials for postal transport; therefore, except for certain products, they cannot be shipped by air or sea.

Performance dampers are items that absorb unpleasant micro-vibrations to improve riding comfort. By attaching them to the front and rear of the body, they reduce deformation of the body that occurs while driving, and by damping and absorbing micro-vibrations, they provide a comfortable and high-quality driving feel.

Improved steering feel through changes in steering torque

The damping effect of the Performance Damper® changes steering force (the force applied to the steering wheel when changing lanes or cornering), improving steering feel. Steering torque is higher after installation compared to a stock vehicle (before the Performance Damper® was installed).

Humans determine steering input based on steering torque, not visual inspection. They make small steering inputs, not only when cornering or on winding roads, but also when driving straight. When steering torque is low with a small steering angle, steering input is limited, leading to excessive steering input.

On the other hand, vehicles equipped with the Performance Damper® have higher steering torque compared to a stock vehicle. This allows the driver to accurately sense the steering weight, which matches the vehicle's movement, allowing for more appropriate steering input.

Steering torque that matches the vehicle's movement benefits the driver in terms of ease of driving and a sense of security.

The damping effect of the Performance Damper® reduces vertical G-forces (vertical vibrations caused by bumps, road undulations, and other factors while driving).

As a result, compared to a standard vehicle (without the Performance Damper®), vibrations across various frequency bands perceived by the human body while riding are reduced, improving ride comfort.

Benefits of reduced bouncy feeling

The bouncy feeling occurs when the car body shakes significantly, causing the human body to sway as well and creating the impression of being rocked by large waves on a boat. Reducing this bouncy feeling reduces the discomfort experienced by car sickness.

Benefits of reduced bouncy feeling

The bouncy feeling occurs when the human body resonates with the car's rough vibrations, causing the upper body (head and torso) to move rapidly up, down, left, and right. Vibrations at this frequency are considered the most uncomfortable for humans, so the improvement is significant, resulting in a more comfortable ride.

Benefits of Reduced Roughness

Roughness is the vibrations of a car's fast, rough movements, like driving on cobblestones, that vibrate the hands, feet, eyeballs, and skin. This not only causes eye and hand tremors but also produces an unpleasant noise. Reducing this vibration reduces fatigue and improves interior quiet, resulting in a higher-quality ride.

Benefits of Reduced Unsprung Vibration and Shaking

Unsprung vibration and shudder occur when minute vibrations from the suspension and tyres are transmitted to the body (palms, soles of the feet, back, buttocks, etc.) through the steering wheel, seat, and floor. Vibrations in this area begin immediately when the car starts moving. Reducing this vibration results in a smoother ride.
