Import vehicle preparation report - 2015 Daihatsu Copen Robe S LA400K Blue (Part 3)
The final piece of our LA400 project has arrived in the UK: a 2015 Daihatsu Copen Robe S.
This vehicle is significant for three reasons. Can you guess what they are? Those who have read our buyer's guide will be familiar with the answers. If you haven't read it yet, I encourage you to check it out first to get a better understanding of the overall picture of the LA400 Copen.
Now, let's delve into the three important aspects:
Firstly, this vehicle completes our collection of four models that showcase the Copen's distinctive interchangeable body design: the Robe, Cero, Xplay, and GR Sport series. Our showroom currently features the popular red GR Sport, a low-mileage red Cero with various options, and a rare lifted Xplay. Thus, the final piece we needed was the Robe.
Secondly, this model completes our lineup of the three performance grades: Standard, S, and GR. We already have the GR, known for its handling tuning, along with the Cero and Xplay, which are based on the Standard grade with various upgrades. Now, the final piece is the S grade, which comes with reinforced suspension.
Lastly, this Robe S adds to our exhaust muffler collection, completing the lineup of five types: Stock, HKS, DSPORT, Fujitsubo, and Mofac. This Robe S is equipped with a Fujitsubo exhaust pipe, meaning we now have one of each exhaust type. I’m excited to create a comparison video to showcase the different sounds!

The Robe S will undergo the MOT inspection and DVLA registration process, so it will be available for viewing only for the time being.
