Club Event Report - JDMJAM 2026
The world is bustling with car events. I feel like gatherings of people, including cyclists and bikers, have increased dramatically, not just cars. Perhaps they've always been popular, but after shrinking due to COVID-19, they're finally returning to their original levels.
So, our company-supported car club, "130R Yokohama GB," went to Donington Park Circuit on the recent Bank Holiday Monday!
Because it's a bit of a distance, we chose the famous caffeine-and-machine "The Hill" for our overnight stay. As expected, it had a great atmosphere. They have other branches, but I personally thought this one was much better than the other two. If you haven't been yet, you should definitely check it out.
The LA400 Copen is still relatively unknown. The modified demo car is eye-catching, and many people gather around, but it seems that not many realise it's a Copen. We still have a lot to work on!
And on the day of JDMJAM, just like the day before, it was a scorching 35 degrees Celsius. This is very unusual weather for May in the UK. Moreover, the venue was entirely asphalt, offering no escape from the heat. Despite the intense heat, a great number of customers came.
This time, our lineup included a Nissan Stagea RS4, Honda CRX, Honda Prelude, Honda S660, Copen L880K, and our company's demo car. It's very difficult to pick the most popular car this time. Each vehicle attracted many visitors, and we enjoyed chatting with many people. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth!
